What are the no cross colors for Holland Lops?

Motorway accidient liability…?
Can anyone tell me the law regarding what happend to me today…

I was on a motorway travelling within the 70mph limit on the outside lane. as I aproached a group of vehicles a car on my left which was behind a lorry in the middle lane pulled out without indication or warning, ramming me into the central reservation. luckily neither my or his car spun and we immediatley pulled onto the hard shoulder.

when i got out and spoke (well, shouted!) at the guy he claimed he was indicating. im 110% certain he wasnt.

i think he just pulled out to get past the lorry without checking his blind spot, which i was probably in by the time i was drawing closer to his line.

what I want to know is is it his responsibility to check the lane he is crossing into and is he liable for this accident?

its with the insurers and im positive he is to blame but any expert advice would be helfull.

a lorry in britain can mean anything from a 7.5 tonne box van up to a full size 40 tonne heavy goods vehicle. in this case it was a hgv.

No question he is liable. He should never have changed lanes with you so close that you couldn’t have stopped in time. Are the police involved ? I would say that was driving without due care.
