Opinions on beginning of my short story please? (easy 10pts)?
"So I think I might know what you’re after."

She stood five foot five but flung her black shadow over the mountains so her fingers manipulated the wind but it would still blow through her cobweb hair and stick over her cheeks and your fingers could never peel it all off.

Her natural stance is with her bony hand over her bony hip, eyes seeping through her makeup mask. Sweet, sticky molasses eyes that make you throb with fantasies of damsels flying from danger with white knights. But she stood bony hand on bony hip.

And she doesn’t like to tell people her name. It’s Eleanore. Her foundation wrinkles up with her grin smirk and stays there when her friends called her Ella. Eleanore is smooth; your fingers leaving a trail of goosebumps down her back in the winter.

You pull in closer to her and choke on the fog sliding down your throat.

"My grandpa’s house, the one over there, someone told you about it?" She flung her hair over her shoulder and the frizzy ends crackled against eachother. "And you think I’ll just run off with you and we can live there and you can rule over me for happily ever after."

She laughed and coughed, filling up the mountains with her rough vanilla extract breath. When she was younger she tried to get drunk off of it. It never worked but her purse still chimed from tiny vanilla extract bottles and the people in town laughed and recited the story with their hands waving in the wind every time she walked by. You would politely laugh and coax more stories out of their vein rippled necks. The people of New Whisconier would huff and look over their shoulders only to then fill you with their folk songs of the great Eleanor for three pulsing hours.

You had known about the house for a month now, but you’d met her far before that. What you want is to crack through that round moth shell of hers and squeeze out Eleanore. Distill her shade until you get to the extract you can bottle up and coddle in the empty safe of your house.

It was hard to take in. It feels like you’re trying to hard. Sometimes less is more.

It’s jumping all over the place and that makes it hard to follow. Some of the descriptive details are completely unnecessary. LIke this line :

"so her fingers manipulated the wind but it would still blow through her cobweb hair and stick over her cheeks and your fingers could never peel it all off."

That just doesn’t really make sense or add anything to the story.

It seems kinda pointless and nothing much is really going on. Your endulged into this character that I feel no emotion for. Some of the discriptions are good though the part of the vanilla extract reminds me of what I used to do when I was young how we try these things. I would rather like to read a part where something is actually going on but anyway don’t give up.

Here’s a list of some good locations

In Draynor Village, there are a big group of them behind the bank. This place is great xp, but really crowded.

I’m pretty sure there are some by Catherby just west of the bank, across the road from the candle shop near the yew trees. Same as above

Another, there’s a few good trees in Lumbridge, they’re north of the castle and west of the bridge. These are only good XP if you have acess to the Culinmanancer (how ever you spell it) chest from the Recipe for Disaster quest, you have to complete at least two parts to have acess to the Chest.

And if you get a game’s necklace from the Grand Exchange, you can teleport to the Barbarian Outpost. Go there and there are several willows. Cut them and when your full, go inside to the Deposit-box and insert them all.

Willow trees? Now there’s a good few… Since you’re a member i’ll bring up member methods only because the f2p methods will be swamped and overused.

If you’ve gotten at least to the prison section in rockin’ out then you’ll be able to do this:

Go to Rimmington south end in there you’ll find a Safe Deposit Box (don’t worry these items just go straight to your bank) but it is one way only. Nearby there’s 10 willow trees… This is probably the best place to cut them.

Next:

If questing isn’t your thing then Barbarian Outpost is your next best spot, The barbarian assault area has a bank deposit box for your willows.

Lastly, If you truely don’t care or wish to burn them straight away I’d personally recommend Edgeville willows.

Initial reactions to my 2010-11 NFL season predictions?
Let me preface this by saying I know how stupid and ridiculous it is to even begin thinking about making this type of prediction so far in advance without going through the draft, training camp, retirements, coaching changes etc. etc. I was bored in class last week and I slowly drafted this up. I made an excel spreadsheet and I went across giving a W or L in each matchup. I looked up which divisions are scheduled to play each other in 2010 and I also matched conference opponents by their division rank this season so I have all of the opponents right.

I’ll post my results and then I’ll make some comments about them. The number in the bracket denotes playoff seeding.

My first reaction was disparity. In my predictions I have 7 teams with 3 or fewer wins; this season there were only 3 such teams. In my predictions I have 12 teams with 5 or fewer wins; this season there were only 8 such teams. In my predictions I have two teams going 15-1; this season the best regular season record was 14-2, followed by 13-3. When deciding who wins and who loses I looked purely at the teams on paper. I obviously couldn’t factor in injuries, winning streeks, momentum, home field advantage, playoff implications, resting starters etc. so I think that all these account for some of that disparity.

Anyways, as I said I was bored and decided to throw these together. I don’t actually think any of this is going to happen and I wouldn’t put five bucks on these predictions. Comment as you wish.

So my friend and I were talking about "when we get married and have kids" which naturally lead into the discussion of baby names. And we more or less got in a bit of an argument over which names are girly and which are tomboyish. So, can you help us settle the score? Why is it the one girl I fall so deeply in love with is the only one that isn't in love with me?
I’m the type of guy that is very guarded, but once you earn the key into my heart, you find out who I am and how I am. Assassins Creed Help Please?
Im on memory block 4, of assassins creed ps3, and im stuck. It has got to the point where i have got three different assassinations to carry out. When ever i go to the assassin bureau, in all of the three cities, they say- come back when you’ve finished the task, yet there is no tasks on the mini map. I also tried going back to maysaf to find the boss, yet he has disappeared too. P.s, i have completed all viewpoints, therefore i cannot synchronise, don’t know if this has anything to do with it. But please help me, i really want to complete the game before assassins creed 2 comes out.
Theres no info on the map as to who i need to evesdrop, pickpocket e.t.c.

Have you done all intimidation’s, pickpocketing and all eve’s dropping to get the right info on the targets you have to kill?

Oh, i know what you mean, have just loaded my copy up and i am where you are. What you have to do is to go to a different section of the city, eg: in Jerusalem, you start out in the rich district (where the Bureau is) and you have to go to the poor district (directly south of the Bureau), find a view point (look for a building with an eagle circling overhead) and go on from there

you could just try restarting the memory block or even the entire game. It doesnt take that long to complete so i wouldnt worry about not finishing in time. plus ac2 is scheduled for christmas so thats ages
